What can be anticipated while packing wet parts in VCI products?
BENZ packaging always recommend placing clean and dry parts in VCI packaging. Still if it is impossible, VCI packaging will still protect metal parts from corrosion, as moisture helps to disassociate the VCI ions. If parts are packaged wet, it is highly recommended to add sheets of VCI paper inside the VCI bag to provide an even higher level of protection.
