Q. Is airtight packaging required for a VCI product to work?
Airtight Packaging is not necessarily required for a VCI Product to work, however the VCI
Vapours must be enclosed in some way. For example, Parts which are placed
onto an Interleaving Sheet can be Protected with BENZ VCI Paper that is
interleaved between the parts. Product Parts should be properly Wrapped or Enclosed
and as per our expert’s recommendation, Airtight Packaging would be most effective method for best results and for long term storage.
